Connect with Christ
The most important decision you will ever make is to place your faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior. Jesus died for your sins on the cross so that you could be forgiven. On the third day, He rose from the dead and offered us forever life with God (1 Cor 15:3-4). Jesus commands you to turn from your sins, trust in Him as Savior, and confess Him as Lord. El Bethel wants to help you make this decision and grow with Christ (Mark 1:15; Rom 10:9-10).
Proclaim Christ
Baptism is a wonderful experience in which a born-again believer is submerged in water in the presence of the Church. It is an act of obedience for every believer (Matt 28:19), a symbol that we have died and been raised with Christ (Rom 6:3-4), and a proclamation that Jesus is who he said He is, the Son of God (Matt 3:17). El Bethel wants to help you be obedient to Jesus through baptism.
Grow with Christ
The four disciplines of a believer are prayer, reading/listening to the Bible, sharing the Gospel, and gathering with the Church. Prayer is direct access and communication to God through the Lord Jesus Christ. You can talk to Him anytime (1 Thes 5:17). The Bible is the inspired Word of God without any error: the sole authority for life and faith. By reading the Bible, you learn God’s will and how to obey it (2 Tim 3:16-17). Evangelism is the activity of sharing the Gospel with unbelievers so that they can place their faith in Jesus (Matt 28:19). The Church is the gathering of believers. The Church needs you, and you need the Church to grow in your relationship with Christ (Eph 4:11-16). El Bethel wants to help you grow to love God and love others.
Obey Christ
Jesus came into the world to seek and save the lost. He commands every believer to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that Jesus has commanded” (Matthew 28:19-20). The Gospel is for all ages, abilities, and attitudes. It is our job to share it with the world. EL Bethel’s desire is bring the Gospel to the nations, and we could use your help.
